Idea Development

-A butterfly is fluttering around the Garden. It then moves towards the child statue, landsIdea development
on it, and the statue comes to life (magical light shines/appears as this happens). Statue walks around Garden, butterfly follows.

-As this Garden VR project is primarily for children in isolation, being positive, believing, finding hope and staying strong through these difficult times is tough. “There is light at the end of the tunnel” (I told a parent I pet  in Isolation as Helen took me to see them and their child. I played video games with the patient whilst also talking to the parents and reassuring them).

-The statue can be walking around, speaking words of encouragement, e.g “Never give up hope…”, “be positive…”, “stay happy…” etc. These magical words can appear next to state as he says them (voice over with statue hand gestures). Or statue/butterfly can touch some plants, they then open/grow and these quotes/words appear from them.

“Sculpture captures the effervescence of children and their joy of life”

-The sculpture can explain a little about the Garden. Seats designed by some of the patients at the Hospital, Garden is at the heart of the Hospital, offers parents and families somewhere to go.
