(TopLeft) I created a simple plant in a pot and used Maya’s vertex painter for the first time, which was quite nice to use. It also allowed me blend in colours, as well as just adding to faces.
(TopRight) I created a basic tree and then used basic square shapes to make up the leaves, which I also used for the plant in the top.
(Middle) I created a simple plant, trying to follow Chelsea Saunders’s basic low poly design.
(Bottom) I attempted to replicate one of her plants to see how it turned out, which I thought looked quite nice in the end.
I experimented with vertex painting the faces, and blending painting on the vertices. The vertex painting on faces is something that I am going to use for the rest of the Gardens colours.
