The Script

One of the Doctors emailed me some useful videos and links to use as research when writing the script.

They include:

-The official process of an MRI scan that is shown on the Great Ormond Street Website MRI Scan procedure

-A 3D Animation showing the process of an MRI scan, although not for Virtual Reality.     3D Animated MRI scann process

-A link explaining an app about MRI scans MRI app

-A list on the G.O.S.H website showing the different types of tests that are carried out by the Radiology Department, in which we spoke about future plans to create VR Animations showing those processes Hospital tests G.O.S.H carry out

Using all these helpful videos and links, I was able to come up with my own script: Script

I recorded my own voice to use temporarily for the project, however once it is all complete I will speak to the Doctors and ask if it is possible for them to record a patient reading out the script as I feel using a child’s voice will come across as more friendly and calming to the children/patients listening. Having discussed with a teacher, he made some great points when it came to the narrative/voiceover.  Would the patients listening and watching the VR MRI animation prefer to hear a Doctor/Nurse’s voice as it is someone important explaining an important procedure who knows what they are talking about. Or could  that be quite overpowering as its a dominant voice they are listening to?
